Hi there! C’mon in, sit down – would you like something to drink? Coffee? Tea? Coffee Milk? What? You’ve never heard of Coffee Milk?? Sheesh – Coffee Milk is a STAPLE where I come from – the littlest state – Rhode Island. I’m currently living in Northern New Hampshire, though, where hubby & I live with our beautiful children.

My blog is mostly about my bizarre life as a stay at home mom, wife and maid. My life revolves around my kids (11, 4 & 1) as I attempt to homeschool the two oldest and explore the path that is next in life. I’ve been a stay at home mom for almost all of my son’s 11-1/2 years – before that, I did secretarial work, and during his 11-1/2 years, I’ve done lots of stuff while being at home, including web design, graphics design and oh yeah, Walmart. My youngest son, who just turned 1, is not completely dependant upon me anymore, so I am looking forward to exploring who *I* am now that this chapter is winding up. The thing that seems to be most likely right now is photography – which is something I truly enjoy, so you’ll find LOTS of photos here and at my photography blog.

I’ve been a little lax this week, perhaps because I was so disappointed that I didn’t win the escape mom’s weekend getaway from 5 Minutes for Mom. *sniffle*

However, they’re already back at it (they’re both pregnant… I’m blaming the hormones) and giving away TEN of these really neat Neat Receipts scanners .. “It’s the easiest way to stay organized”. I’d need all 10 of them to even make a DENT in my paper piles! I always keep receipts and then never remember WHY. LOL But you can also scan things like those darling 29 pictures your 2 yr old drew and although they’re really cute, you have NO IDEA what to do with them after they’re not so cool with her anymore. And, surprise surprise, Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing has another giveaway! This time, she’s offering a pretty neat babywearing contraption called The Podonbutai (no, I can’t pronounce it either) by All Natural Mommies – you have to get into this one by 7/11 [as an aside, I tried using a Infantino baby carrier this week during a rather brief walk w/Zach and came home with pain up into my neck, shoulders, jaw, and a headache! I'm about to give up on babywearing ]

I totally forgot missed these guys!

5 Minutes for mom is giving away tons of stuff! I would totally LOVE to have this Krups Ice Cream Maker, and in fact was just whining asking Hubby last week if we could get an ice cream maker this summer.Then, can you imagine having a customized swim suit JUST for your gorgeous girl bod? They’re giving away a $120 Lands’ End gift card good for one too!And these calling cards are just too cute – although when you consider that I don’t socialize with any other moms or kids, basically, I’d just wind up giving them to you guys LOLAnd holy ummm.. you know… they’re also giving away a MOTHER’S RETREAT! And no, it’s not an uninterrupted trip to the bathroom, although, you know… that would be totally cool with me too. But seriously, a 2-1/2 day retreat at a 4 start resort? Their next one is in September, so I might ACTUALLY be able to escape separate myself from my nursing son by then!Over at Essential Keystrokes, Char is celebrating her One Year blogaversary by giving away lots of cool schtuff. Here’s my email to her: Unfortunately, we haven’t got many this year. With a new(ish) baby and a new(ish) job, it’s hard to get away for long, but we’re planning on headin down to Rhode Island, my HOMELAND (lol) and spend a day with my family and a day at the beach. I can’t wait, though, as I haven’t been to RI beach in SO long (I’m thinking 6 years) and RI Beaches are the BEST. Oh, and Karen let me know about this contest over at SheFinds! Check it out!
