SNOWPOCOLYPSE! RUN RUN RUN!

popping..

I thought we moved out of New Hampshire.

My THOUSANDS of dollars of cre-dit ca-rd d-e-b-t (trying to discourage the spammers) tell me that we did move out of New Hampshire.  LAST YEAR, as a matter of fact, we moved out of New Hampshire.  We drove our weather-weary butts 600 miles south of New Hampshire.  We drove our weather-weary butts, our 3 children’s weather-weary butts, our 2 cats’ weather-weary butts (ok, so they weren’t really weary  YET – but we saved them from that, or so we THOUGHT!) 593.02 miles miles SOUTH OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.

BELOW the Mason-Dixon Line, even!

We moved South. SOUUUUUTH.

To West Virrrrrginiaaaaaa.

but uh…

does *THISSSS* look south?

This is snow. This is SERIOUIS snow.  Snow drifts, actually.  Snow drifts drifting up our windows!  This is the view from Anthony’s bedroom.

This is the outside view of my bedroom (where the birds visit) – yah – exactly.

This is my view from INSIDE my bedroom, and THIS one wound up on MSNBC’s “Daily-Nightly” – how cool is that?!?!?!

I think the birds are thinking “wtf????” But I kept the feeder cleared and so they rewarded me with their visits :)

(Anthony thinks I’m strange because I built a snowman for the birds)

Because of the wind, it was difficult to properly measure how much snow we actually got, but from what I could see, we easily got 2 FEET of snow.  Neither Jimmy nor I can remember more than twice in 8 years of living in NORTHERN New Hampshire that we got that much snow at once.  TWICE IN TWO MONTHS we get that much here in West freakin Virginia.

My dad says we’ve f’ed up the Earth’s atmosphere by moving so far from home.

My friends in NH are insisting that we took their snow with us, because this year – you know how much snow they’ve gotten?   Like NONE. lol

Maybe they’re right – we did bring it with us – maybe that’s why we’re so far in debt. DO you KNOW how much it costs to transfer snow from one place to another?

Just ask Vancouver.
