You’re going to think I’m nuts, but I am already missing New Hampshire – or more to the point, my photographic possibilities in New Hampshire.  They had their first snowfall of the season this week, and as I’m scrolling through pictures on the news website, I’m rather jealous. 

Yesterday, it was quite chilly here and a bit drizzly and the kids went outside for a few minutes, only to come back in and report, “mom, it smells like New Hampshire outside!”.

2 weekends ago, we went and bought a bushel of apples from an orchard nearby.  Since then, I’ve been making apple everything.  Apple pancakes have been a real favorite, but also, I have made apple crisp, apple sauce, fried apples and apple crunch.  Yes, I have made everything BUT apple pie. LOL

I haven’t been taking many pictures AT ALL.  But here’s my most recent subject:

I got a three-fer! LOL  These stumps are part of the butterfly bush that is planted outside my bedroom window.  The birds land there and watch to make sure it’s safe to go up to the porch and raid the bird feeder.  It’s not often that there are 3 there, but I just happened to look at the right time, I guess!

It’s 4:30am. I’m bored, what can I say? LOL
