Market Day
Today was an absolutely beautiful day for the Farmer’s Market. It was a little too breezy, though, so it was annoying because we had to keep worrying about the canopy blowing over, and the lemonade stand blowing over. Also, they put us out in GUAM today, so a lot of people didn’t see us or didn’t bother to walk all the way to the end of the aisle where we were positioned next to the FLUTE guy.
We raised an addition $60 today, though I think it should have been more just because of the sheer volume of people and the temperatures. Next week, or whenever we go back, we’ll get there RIGHT AT 9, so we can get a better spot.
I am psyched, though, that it’s squash season! I love love LOVE squash, and grabbed several today. Yum.
On Friday night, I went out for about an hour by myself to take some pictures and buy stuff for the lemonade stand. Here’s a couple of pics I got – I had a BALL at this particular spot because of the flowers and the lighting. Just gorgeous!
