just can’t win
Dear Anthony,
#1 – do you think we’ll be the ONLY ones not at the Farmer’s Market today? Of course not – so if there’s not a lot of people there, and the ones that are are walking around in the rain, how many of them are going to want to buy lemonade?
#2 – perhaps you’ve forgotten, but it was a major pain in the butt to keep your stand from blowing over repeatedly last week. This week – with these pretty big storms moving in, your stand (which is only made of cheap cardboard) would be ruined – thus putting a premature end to your lemonade selling days this summer.
#3 – I don’t know about you, but *I* do not like sitting outside in thunderstorms. Particularly surrounded by huge pine trees. Thanks, but no. I do not need a perm.
#4 – I’m the mama.
