Monday Randomness
I’ve been watching some of the AFI’s top 10 of 10 movies that I’d mentioned I’d never seen before. One thing remains clear. Bette Davis was highly overrated.
If you can feel your entire lower body jiggle when you walk, you should not wear shorts that show off the bottom of your ass. Just say NO.
If you hear someone say "good morning", don’t stare them in the face and then turn away without responding. It’s RUDE.
I’m not sure why you thought it was funny to let loose with the rain 10 minutes before we had to pack up the plastic canopy, Mother Nature, but it wasn’t. Funny.
How can you be an attached parent and let your baby scream and scream and scream some more – while you do stuff 5 feet from her. How?
Neurologist appt was a bust – (did I already tell you this?) – he really has no clues, but is sending me for physical therapy to help my neck & lower back. I just don’t know if we can afford for me to go. He does, however, also say that my symptoms fit someone with thyroid problems, but notes that my thyroid was fine – but that was a year ago. So I’m making an appointment tomorrow to go get the blood work done to check again.
We held our first lemonade stand today yesterday. Sold approx 60 cups of lemonade. Not a bad start!
Libby had another vasovagal syncope response last night. Again, it gave me a heart attack. I’d fallen asleep and about 10 minutes later, Libby woke me up to say her ear hurt. I went into the bathroom with her to look at it, and it looked like she’d tugged on her earring a little because her ear piercing hole was bleeding. It wasn’t gushing – but it was pretty active. I told her I’d have to take her earring out so I could clean it up. It was the first time her earring had been out at all. I took it out and used the disinfectant that we’d gotten when it was pierced and it was cold but it wasn’t it wasn’t stinging, that I could tell. She started whining more and then all of a sudden, she was WHITE AS A SHEET again, and as I was calling Jimmy to come help me, she collapsed in my arms. I’d hoped I’d NEVER see her do this again – it’s just nuts. I can only IMAGINE what will happen when she gets her period.
Ok, enough randomness
But check out this sunrise!
