Real Life – Baby Borrowers

Am I the only one who is snorting whenever one of these teenagers on The Baby Borrowers starts bitching or crying about how hard it is to do what they’re doing? Especially the girls – the girls who think that being a parent is just so cool and they are just so READY to be mommies – because it’s such a wonderful experience!

Of course, those of us who have BEEN doing it for a while realize that there are really AWESOME things to being a parent. But still – this show is just too funny. I really wonder if it’ll help stress that this is simply NOT an easy thing to do. It’s not a hobby – it’s a life. I hope it’ll show all those girls who think that living at home with mommy & daddy is too HARD and that they want to move out and start their own families because they’ll be so.much.better at it. I hope it makes them want to go to college, get a good education, get a career, not just a job. I hope it makes them want to travel and explore and enjoy before they decide to bring another life into this world that they’ll potentially ruin.

I am glad to see that they’re showing the reality of having a baby that doesn’t just sit there and smile and coo. I sure wouldn’t have volunteered my babies to help these kids learn these lessons, but I suppose someone had to. LOL
