Celebration time!
Woohoo! 2 YEARS! 2 YEARS ago, I found out I was pregnant with Zachary. How time has flown by since then. It’s been amazing, of course, because not only did we have the most adorable, beautiful, HANDSOME baby in the whole world, but I also made a whole buncha new friends when I came over to the mommyblogging side of the blogosphere. For that, I’ll be eternally grateful. TRULY. People like Stacey, Meredith, Jane, Audrey & Jennifer, and SOOOOOO many other wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable women, women who cared enough to leave a comment, kept me in their thoughts when I was having a hard time, and continue to spur me on and have faith in me. So to all of you – all you mommies (of any kind), thank you for 2 wonderful years. It truly has been a wonderful ride. I look forward to the next year with lots of growth, both personal, kidlet and blog growth.
I’m setting my sites on BlogHer 09. Beginning the week of July 18th, which is this year’s BlogHer convention, I’m going to start squirreling away a mere $10 a week. Not much – but that’s probably what I spend on my trips to Dunkin Donuts for my coffee. So I’ll squirrel that $10 away and by next July? $500! Who wants to join with me? Who wants to make a BlogHer Squirrel pact? LOL I’m sick of sitting on the sidelines! I wanna JOIN in the fun of worrying about comfortable vs. stylish shoes, what to wear that WON’T make me look like I’ve gained the 50 lbs I’ve gained, and of course, the whole "just how much do I want to drink?" thing LOL
