I really don’t know how they do it!  The girls over at 5 Minutes for Mom has been giving stuff away on their blog for WEEKS!  The deadline for their Mother’s Day Giveaway is tonight, though, so if you haven’t gotten a chance to enter, you better get to it!  I know I am.

1. What is the most important thing you mom taught you about life?

• Do not depend on a man for anything.  Harsh, I know – but true.

2. TV moms, who is your favorite? Roseanne Conner of Roseanne, Claire Huxtable of The Cosby Show, Miriam Cunningham of Happy Days? Another?

• I always identified more with Roseanne, and she was on before I even had kids.  I always wanted to be Claire or Marion, though.

3. What is the best thing about being a mom? The worst?

• Best thing – When they open their eyes in the morning and smile because you’re the 1st thing they see.
• Worst – the gut-wrenching, nightmare inducing idea of something happening to them.

4. What are you doing on Mother’s Day?

• No clue – hubby never tells me beforehand what we’re doing.  Which usually translates to him running out on Sunday morning and buying something – then they all present it to me – and then everyone goes back to what they were doing. :S

• In the downstairs rooms, it’s this no-wax tile kind of thing… impossible to keep clean. Upstairs, everything is carpeted but the bathroom.

• No one that I know personally.
