Dancing with the Stars
It was no big surprise to me when Shannon Elizabeth got sent packing last night. She just doesn’t HAVE a dancer body and no amount of padding was going to help that. Her partner, Derek Hough (brother of 2x winner Julianna Hough) is an excellent choreographer, but he can’t help her shake hips she just doesn’t HAVE.
It sucks that Christian de la Fuente will need surgery to fix the ruptured tendon arm injury he incurred on Monday’s show – and I think he’s nuts to take the chance of making it worse just to stay on the show – but what do I know? But is a mirror ball trophy really worth it?
Finally – Def Leppard? Really? While I am a DF fan, do they REALLY mesh well with a ballroom dancing show? Eh… not so much.
Big Brother 9
Adam Jasinski is a jerk. He was a jerk throughout Big Brother 9, and to see him win the big money was a big disappointment. His comments, early on in the show, cost CBS some sponsorship money and cost Adam his job. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he found out he’d lost the job. Granted, $500k is a lot of money, but it’s not enough to retire on – so what’s he going to do now? LOL What a dumbass. And now he may be hedging on giving the $100k that he promised to donate to charity because when he promised it, he didn’t know he’d lost his job. Jerk.
I’d hoped that the fan vote would give the $25k bonus to Sheila or Sharon. They’re the only 2 that really deserved anything of the final 4. Still, it went to James, the porn star, who probably won’t squander it on the crap that Adam & Ryan had planned to blow theirs on.

The only good news about this season is that Jeff Probst has signed up to do seasons 17 – 20 = yummy. Otherwise, who cares? They’ve changed so much about this show – the “luxuries” allowed, the same challenges repeated over and over – blah.
