1. I’m looking forward to my eye doctor’s appointment next week. (And my baby sister’s birthday )

Kitchen Design has always been the thing I’ve doodled. Perhaps it’s because I love to cook, and never have a big enough or well designed kitchen – but the kitchens in this video are just fabulous. I covet them! Hopefully some day, I’ll have the opportunity to design my own, but I guess until then, I’ll just have to drool over the kitchens in this Kitchen Design video.   Hello – my name is Dawn, and I’m a kitchenaholic.

Sooooo, yesterday was, in Stacey’s words, a FANTABULISTIC kind of day.  WHY, do you ask?  Welllllllll………..

First, we hadn’t checked our mail in a few days because the dealership had my set of keys that has the mailbox key on it.  So when I sent Anthony over to get the mail, he came back with looooads of stuff.  Blah blah blah dentist apparently isn’t keeping track of which teeth he’s fixed in hubby’s mouth, because the dental insurance isn’t going to PAY for a root canal on a tooth that they show has been pulled (DUH) – and then blahblahblah, credit card bill I’ve already paid online… and then OOOooh, hey! what’s THIS?

A package from SOMEONE over there in Misssssouri.  Hmmm, who do I know in Missouri?  Why, sure enough – it’s from my friend Staceyyyyyyyyy!  Inside was a WONDERFUL care package that contained this:

which looks pretty interesting – I love the subtitle:  Start today living boldly and without fear.  Somehow, that Staceyyyyy person knows that it’s something I need to do.

She also included a t-shirt that I SIMPLY CANNOT find a link to (Ms. Stacey needs a search on her blog), but it says “Live Simply so that others may Simply Live” and I really like that sentiment. 

She also included the MOST important item in any woman’s recovery – CHOCOLATE!!  I’m telling you, She ROCKS.

THEN!  About an hour later, we were all (me & the kids) in my room with the door closed, and vaguely, I thought I could hear someone knocking.  By the time Anthony got to the window, he saw someone walking away, and he says “cherry blossom??” – which I mistakenly thought was a kid LOL  I said so and he said “NO!!! The place that daddy sends you flowers from!”  Ohhhhh – hey!  So I ask Jimmy via IM if he was sending me flowers – nope, he says.  SO I look up the number and call them, and she even knew who I was LOL So she sent the driver back and he brought me this:

Through the FlyLady, I’ve made some really nice friends in NH and through the mailing list/yahoo group.  Last year, we adopted sisters as a way to make someone smile – and then after the year was over, we were supposed to reveal our identities – but it was decided that we wouldn’t do it again so MY secret sister never revealed herself, and has continued to send me things and make me smile.  She’s sent me an outfit for Zach when he was born, birthday & Christmas cards – and now this – isn’t that just so cool?  So yah, I’d say that yesterday was a FANTABULISTIC day

I love food. I ALWAYS have (have you seen my throwback pictures? LOL)  I’ve always loved to cook, too.  Today, I found this really neat site called www.foodconnect.com, a social networking site for those of us who love to cook. How cool is that?
