well, there’s good news & bad news

halloween

My MRI was "normal" i.e. no MS or strokes.  The bad news, in my opinion, is that I’m back to square 1.

I still don’t know what’s wrong with me.

HE still doesn’t know what’s wrong with me.

I feel no relief from these results – and maybe that has to do with the depression which feels like it’s returning in full force.

The damned twitches drive me crazy.

‘it may be a pinched nerve’ – ‘it may be a neuropathy’ – ok, well, let’s get to figuring this out. No, I’m NOT going  to wait a month and go back.  My next appt is on Monday.  But I’m not gonna just sit back and twiddle my thumbs waiting for something new to happen.  This is just SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you’re thinking.  Geez, Dawn – can ‘t you just be happy that it’s NOT those things that were so scary?  But no, because it could still be things worse – because I didn’t have the contrast dye, there could still be things hiding.  So no, no relief.

In other news, Libby’s sick with a fever, cough, runny nose – just so much FUN for trick or treating, huh?  We’re gonna go, but not for long, that’s for sure.  I’d rather go buy them candy lol

I’ll post TorT pictures tomorrow, I’m sure.  Zach’s costume is very cute (of course, what did you think ?) and Anthony’s is quite … inventive. LOL  and Libby’s is just beauuuuutiful :)

I’m going as a tired mom.  Funny, that’s been my costume for a few years now.  I need something new.

Oh hey, go check this site out – you can carve your own jack-o-lantern – it’s pretty neat :)

O M G – whaaaaa?

can I just say how WRONG it is that Sabrina got voted off this week? WRONG, People! This is the first week that I didn’t vote – and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED? :(   Geez.  I’m mad now.

:(

You could clearly tell the judges were stunned too – and Carrie Ann cried.   I wish they’d post the actual numbers of votes cast.  Because it had to have been close.  Cameron and Edyta surely should have gone home.

Dammit.

Sooooo anyway

I went for the mri today.  I still haven’t heard back from the neurologist, whom I’ve called TWICE plus stopped by his office.  I just want to tell him of the new symptoms, but apparently, he’s not interested.  It really annoys me that I’m disposable.  This guy doesn’t KNOW the symptoms to be able to just shrug me off.  I’m not saying their life threatening, but HE doesn’t know that either.

I’m going to call again tomorrow. And Thursday. And Friday.  We’re supposed to leave for TN on Saturday – and I still don’t know that we should – so we probably won’t.  I would like to get this trip over with though.  But who knows what the hell is going on with me and if it’ll get worse.  The last thing I need is to be STUCK IN TENNESSEE.

I’ve been the lucky recipient of a couple more awards too.  I have some really wonderful friends here in bloggy world, and I’m so very grateful to them all.  I will show them off sometime this week.

Reality TV Tuesday

So this week’s Dancing with the Stars, Sabrina Bryant & Mark didn’t get the highest of marks, with Len & Bruno saying that Sabrina wasn’t as … smooth? Soft? I dunno – I thought she was awesome, as usual. She’s just so damned cute, how can you criticize her? :)

Jennie Garth & Derek’s mambo was fun and really got the judges in an uproar. That was nice to see, because you can see how anxious she is in this whole thing.

Jane Seymour (Happy now, Tommy??) & Tony’s Jive was …eh? I didn’t like her in this dance – it’s like she didn’t have control of her legs properly – the judges felt the same way. And by the way – she’s got a fabulous body, but Jane – you need a cheeseburger LOL

(Samantha does NOT look good in that color, btw LOL)

Cameron Mathison & Edyta, imo, have been rather snowed the judges LOL I think though, that the guys always have a harder time showcasing their dance talents than the women. The men always seem to just be walking around the dance floor, while the women are able to flash their fringe & glitter. This week’s samba was … kind of weird – I’d characterize it the way they’d accused Mark Cuban of doing the same thing – he was acting like someone who was dancing, instead of dancing. 25? I don’t think they deserved it, but I think it’s because of Edyta’s flash. But didn’t they see his screw up at the end???

Mel B & Max – they are good together, but I guess I must have missed what the judges saw this week. They did a good job, though, with such high scores. Really weird.

Marie Osmond & Jonathan’s Paso Doble was kind of slow, compared to other’s, and the finale was scary! lol Their scores revealed it, too.

Helio & Julianne – yay they’re back! Their chacha was fun and fast and just so cute, he’s pretty much my favorite to win, but I think Sabrina’s gonna take it alllll.

This week, all couples had to also learn and do the group dance which was lots of fun.

Last week, I was right and Mark Cuban went home, but his entry on his blog was so full of happiness, I was sorry to see him go and that’s why – he just seems so real :)

This week, I think Jane & Tony will go. They were in the bottom 2 last week, and so I think they’ll find themselves there again this week. She’s done a great job, though!

As for Survivor-ChinaKaren encouraged me to watch the week I’d missed so I did – I personally think that if someone admits to throwing a challenge, THEY should be sent home. It’s so unfair for the rest of the people on their team. I was glad that Sherea was sent home, though. Maybe now she’ll be able to put on some clothes.  In checking the link for this week, though, I see that CBS already HAS what happens on this week’s show LOL I won’t share it here, though. But still, it’s been rather lackluster. I did kinda feel bad for James though – you can tell he really wants to PLAY.

Amazing Race starts this Sunday! I’ve already scoped out who to love & who to hate, so here’s a clue and I’ll let you decide which category these two fall under:
