A few weeks ago, I received an email from the company that makes Glad® products askind if I’d be willing to accept a sample and try it out.

Of course, I’m all about FREE stuff, so I said yes, and literally, within days, they were in my hot little hands.

Glad® SimplyCooking(tm) Microwave Steaming Bags looked very similar to regular storage bags.

The first thing I noticed was that they’ve designed them so that when you open them, they stay standing, so it was much easier to fill them than a regular storage bag.

That came in handy when I had to pour in the scrambled egg mixture! Yes, I was making scrambled eggs in this! So in went the eggs, cream, and some chopped onions and peppers that I’d prepared. I was basically following a recipe that was enclosed with the steamer bags.

After everything was in the bag, I just sealed it as usual and popped it into the microwave.

In just 4 minutes (or so), my omelette was done. To be honest, the color was a little off-putting, but the taste was fabulous and I had to share with my daughter LOL

All in all, I would definitely buy the Glad® SimplyCooking(tm) Microwave Steaming Bags in the future just because it was just so easy and Simple! On another day, I had some zucchini to make for dinner – I just sliced them, threw them in the bag with a can of stewed tomatoes and microwaved! They were delicious as well.
