Throwback Thursday – glamour edition ;)
popping..

The year was 1995 and this guy & I had been talking online for a few weeks/months and he asked if I wanted to see his picture. I hadn’t asked because I didn’t want him to see mine (cuz, afterall, there was no WAY he’d be interested in me if he knew what *I* looked like). So he sent me his picture.

OH MY GOD, he looked like a rock star (to me, anyway). Totally convinced that he’d NEVER be interested in me now, I held off showing him my pic, and when I finally did, showed him this LOL

Yaah, denial much? LOL Anyway, turns out, he didn’t give 2 figs about what I looked like anyway, he liked what was inside Still, I like him better now, with age and wisdom in his eyes, and not $$

Those are awesome! I did a glamour shots photo once too, with a friend of mine – I’ll have to dig up a copy of it one of these days.
I like the family photo the best!
Thanks, Deb – me too!
OK, he was a total rock star in that photo – absolutely! And you look beautiful in that Glamouur Shot! But you know what? In the photo of you two together with your beautiful family, you look so incredibly happy. You were meant for each other!
Happy TT!
Jane, P&B Girls
All three of your pictures are great!!! What a happy family you all are. Happy TT!!!
Aren’t those glamour shots fun? You look fabulous and yes, he DOES look like a rock star. That family photo is really nice. It’s always great to get a shot when everyone is looking in the same direction and everyone is smiling!!
Great post! Your family picture is just precious!
That’s a great story!! The idea of internet dating freaks me out! (I have a friend that does it) You guys have a great looking family.
A little Leif Garrett he was, no? You’re too hard on yourself, my friend. Seriously you are. Although I can’t lecture you, I’ve always thought I was the ugliest woman in the room, so I’m not one to preach the esteem thing. This was a terrific Throwback. You’ve done well.
And GiGi up there^^she’s afraid of everything!
(I love her)
Awww…I loved this!!!
This is so cute. But: is he standing in front of a Twister game?
(that picture of you is darling.)
What a fabulous story! Love, like wine, gets better with age.
I think you two were and are an adorable couple.
Bossy, I can’t believe you’re the only one to ask that! LOL We’ve joked about that for years.
For *some* reason, his father painted the wall outside their house like that. I _don’t_ know why LOL
OMG This is the coolest TT ever!! So Cool…LOL Gosh remember those Glamour Shots…LOL…That is truly a throwback
What a love story… one that just continues each moment, each day, each year! And the photos! Well, they give us beautiful glimpses into your love story. Your children will cherish the story, the photos, the love!
Sharon – Pinks & Blues
I’ve never done a glamour shot. After all, there is only SO much magic they can do and mine would never come out as beautiful as yours!!
Off to Chicago. I’ll be incognito for a few days (except for an auto post tonight.)
Thank you Karen, but keep in mind, that was 12 years and three kids ago LOL
I actually think you both look better now. You look so happy and comfortable with yourselves. And what a beautiful family!
Absolutely beautiful story and you both look so happy and content… what a gorgeous family
