The very best way for a person who is only 5 feet tall to look taller is to be photographed with others shorter than her  From left to right – My neice, her mom (my sister in law), me, my sister, my friend. My sister, 11 at the time, was my maid of honor My (first) wedding, June 23, 1991.(PS – the stain is on the photo, NOT the dress LOL)

lol even on the day of the wedding, I wasn’t so sure it was something I should have done LOL
But I was so proud of the wedding itself – the dresses, the flowers, which I designed and then made (all silk), everything – I couldn’t cancel.
Look at all that taffeta! It was quite the fancy wedding. Nice. Everyone looks very nice.
oh how funny. hey, you do look tall. my mother is 5.2 and i tower over here even though i’m only 5.6. great photo.
I am 5′1 too and I know what your saying! About the only one shorter than me is my daughter..
As another short bride, our solution was to do photos on steps, lol. Very pretty photo – you were a beautiful bride!

a group of Louisiana Wedding Photographers , well, photographers in general, will ask the bride to step on a box or something that’ll will elevate the bride.
What a nice photo it takes me back to my wedding day being 4′10 tall or not so tall i was the shortest in many of my photo’s.My husband was 5′0 tall so i was careful not to wear high heels has i felt it would be nice.So with me and my husband we were nearly head to head he was slightly taller on the day.I also had my younger sister has bridesmaid and with her being 5′8 tall she looked massive compared to us.We also had my niece who was 8 at the time up to my height also my nephew who was 10 and 5′5.Least the photos werent that bad has we also had my inlaws in alot of them and they are all mainly our height.Marks dad was 5′1 and his mum was 4′10 along with his brother who is 5′2 and sister 4′11.My family were quite tall so we just did like short tall short tall which was funny.
I like yourself is nat very tall and i look back at my wedding/family photo’s all the time.Especially when my daughter always finds them we go through them.Now when she was only 10 she was always saying why i was the shortest out of my family to which i dont really have a clue.I mean….

Things were alot different for me than Marcus family has they were mainly a decent height for them.I had my sister has a bridesmaid and with her being over a foot taller than me did look odd.On the day i had to wear high heels has i didnt want to look that short,i was still barely 5′0 tall never quite managing it.When it came to cutting the cake we had to have it put on a lower table for us both to reach it properly.Anything was better than someone suggesting getting a chair so we could both reach it.It went off well anyway.
I like your photo and you still have some height on me you lucky thing.
